Sometimes the creation of templates and subtitles can begin using the final cut or media for a title. In other cases, templates and subtitles can be originated using a locked cut. In this second scenario, all assets created with a locked cut need to be updated once the cut is upgraded to final –a process commonly known as “cut conformance”.
