Since October 2nd, Netflix has released tasks for episode title translations. These tasks are meant to come bundled with subtitling tasks for episodes and films. However, we’ve observed that several episode title translation tasks are being made available via SASS or are already being assigned to linguists directly.
To ensure consistency and accuracy, we kindly ask all linguists to follow these guidelines:
- Please do not take on episode title tasks for episodes or standalone titles you were not the author or QCer of.
- Please fill out this survey with the original title and MID: If you have already accepted, or been assigned, a task for which you were not the author or QCer for the long form. This same survey can also be used if you have any questions regarding this new service.
- Deadlines: bundled episodic titles deadline should follow the episode translation deadline. Please flag us any inconsistencies.

After careful consideration, the NF team has decided to implement a Standard Rate of $8.00 per episodic title per language.
